// independent record label
We mainly put out granular, artcore, botanica, and colorbass, mixed with other EDM genres aimed at otoge (rhythm games).
✦ ✦ ✶ ✦what we put out
Colorbass
Vibrant, emotionally driven bass music. Heavy on texture, synth work, and dynamic drops.
Granular
Sound design at the particle level. Stretched textures, micro-sampled clouds, and synthesis that doesn't follow the rules.
Artcore
Big arrangements, emotional builds, and live-sounding instruments fused with electronic production.
Botanica
Organic textures, field recordings, and the kind of atmosphere that feels alive and rooted.
Otoge
Made for rhythm games, built to be charted. Tight structures, expressive patterns, and music that plays as good as it sounds.

faq
How do I submit my music? ›
Through the submission form on this site. If you're having trouble, you can also reach us on our socials.
What genres do you accept? ›
Any EDM genre is welcome, but we prioritize colorbass, granular, artcore, botanica, and otoge. If it's EDM and it's good, send it.
How long does the review take? ›
It depends on the volume of submissions at the time. You'll be added to the roster if accepted once all reviews are complete.
Do you accept demos or WIPs? ›
No. Finished, unreleased tracks only. If your track is already out on any platform, it's not eligible.
Do I keep ownership of my music? ›
Yes, all rights stay with you. Starcore only takes custody of the master file you submit — we recommend sending a premaster with nothing on the master channel (no limiter, clipper, etc.).
Is there a binding contract? ›
Not yet — it's currently a mutual agreement. We're planning to introduce formal contracts in the future and will always be upfront about where things stand.
Is CC-BY licensing compatible? ›
Yes, CC-BY is fully compatible with releasing under Starcore Records.
Can I release my track elsewhere? ›
You can release on other platforms freely — it's your music. However, a track released under Starcore cannot be under another label simultaneously. Either party can terminate with 30 days written notice; we'll remove the track within 60 days and you regain full control.
What's the royalty split? ›
90% goes to you, 10% goes to Starcore Records for label funding.
How do I get paid? ›
Once your track is accepted, you'll be invited via email to create an account. You're in full control of your earnings and can withdraw directly through the platform.
What does Starcore do for my music? ›
We publish and distribute your music under the Starcore Records name, handle promotion, and make sure you're properly credited everywhere the music appears.
Can I collab with other Starcore artists? ›
Yes — collabs between roster artists are fully allowed and encouraged.
